Environmental Policy
Basic Philosophy
YUKEN CHEMICAL deeply recognizes the importance of “global environmental preservation”, and we will strive to reduce environmental impact through all of our business activities, and act to contribute to the creation of a society capable of sustainable development.
We have established the following action guidelines, and all of us will work together to promote environmental management activities.
Action Guidelines
In our purchasing activities, we will make a comprehensive judgment by considering greenness in addition to conventional quality, price, delivery time, and other factors. The greenness evaluation is based on the following two items.

Initiatives to procure environmentally friendly products and preserve biodiversity
We promote "green procurement," the procurement of environmentally friendly products. In addition, we will work to reduce the possibility of having a negative impact on biodiversity conservation by thoroughly preventing the release of chemical products such as lubricants and chemical products into the environment when disposing of them, and by practicing environmentally friendly driving methods when delivering products to each company.

Establishment of Company-wide Environmental Targets
In accordance with the above basic policy, we have established the following company-wide environmental policy.
1 Promotion of green procurement
2 Thoroughly prevent waste from being released into the environment
3 Promote eco-driving during delivery
The set targets will be reviewed as necessary, taking into consideration the degree of achievement, surrounding conditions, and information.

Dissemination of Environmental Policy
We will make our environmental policy known to our employees and all those who work for our company, and promote environmental activities. We will disclose our environmental policy to the public as necessary.
